和の植物たち/Japanese Plants

我が家の箱庭に数年前植えたエビネランが

いつの間にか花をつけていました。

I found calanthes just started to bloom in our Japanese garden.

親戚の方に頂いた一株が、数株に増えました。

花は静かな雰囲気が漂います。

Our relative presented this to us, and one plant was multiplied by division.

先日植え替えた、和の草花だと思い込んでいたものは

「ヒューケラ」という北米の植物でした。

主張しない可憐な花は、和の花器にも良く合います。

The name of the plant replanted with Japanese pot is "Heuchera."

I thought it was a Japanese plant, but it is actually from North America.

鉢植えのユキヤナギも沢山咲きました。

少しだけ拝借して、飾ります。

去年は沢山切りすぎたので、今年は控えめに。

Thunbery spirea is also in full bloom.

I arranged it with tiny Japanese vase.

I cut the branches too much last year, but I won't this year.
